Quetta (PR) – The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has announced that power supply will remain suspended in Quetta and several other districts on September 11 and 12 due to development and maintenance work on transmission lines and installations.
According to the company, on September 11 electricity will be suspended from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in areas linked to the Sheikh Manda Grid Station, including Western Bypass, Jabal Noor, Dareem, Khrotabad, Dosteen, and Takatu feeders. From 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, supply from the Quetta City Grid Station covering Old Samungli, Alam Khan, and Nawan Killi feeders will remain shut, while from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm outages will affect Saryab Mill, Shah Nawaz, FGS, Shamozei, and WASA feeders under the Industrial Grid Station. On the same day, power supply to Pishin, Gulistan, and Sanjavi grid stations will remain suspended from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Jhal Magsi Grid Station from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the Loralai Grid Station covering Express, MES, Zangiwal, University, Shabozei, Sarghund, and Rural feeders from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
On September 12, the Industrial Grid Station will again face a shutdown, affecting Asimabad, Industrial, Saryab Mill, Shah Nawaz, Shamozei, and FGS feeders from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
QESCO has apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and appealed for their patience and cooperation during the scheduled maintenance.
