Quetta (ANN): Provincial Minister for Education, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, has said that true success in both worldly and spiritual life can only be achieved by incorporating the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) into personal, academic, and professional lives.
She was speaking as chief guest at a spiritually enriching Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference organized by Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) in connection with Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez said the conference is a testament to the university’s commitment not only to academic excellence but also to moral and religious training. He emphasized that in light of the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings, values such as honesty, respect, compassion, and responsibility must guide society.
Themed “Use of Social Media and Responsibilities of State Institutions in the Light of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH),” the conference featured speeches highlighting the ethical use of digital platforms for social good.
The event included an exhibition of Islamic books, calligraphy, and posters, along with competitions in recitation, Na’at, and essay writing, in which students participated enthusiastically.
Raheela Hameed Durrani, in her speech, underlined that Islamic teachings and the translation of the Holy Quran are being integrated into the curriculum. She stressed that with the completion of religion through the finality of Prophethood, it is the duty of Muslims to spread the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to every human being.
At the conclusion, the education minister distributed certificates and cash prizes among successful students, appreciating their devotion and interest in Islamic values. The conference ended with a collective prayer for the country’s peace, unity, and the promotion of Islamic values.
