Quetta (6 AM Report) : The Government of Balochistan has declared Saturday, September 6, 2025 (12 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1447 Hijri) as a public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
According to an official notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), all government, semi-government offices, and educational institutions across the province will remain closed.
The provincial government stated that the decision was made to observe the sacred day with full religious devotion and respect. Processions, gatherings, and other religious ceremonies will be held throughout Balochistan to mark the occasion.
Strict security measures are being put in place to ensure peace during the celebrations, while district administrations have been directed to improve traffic management for citizens’ convenience.
Authorities have appealed to the public to celebrate the day in a spirit of religious harmony and tolerance.
It may be noted that Eid Milad-un-Nabi is observed every year in Balochistan with large-scale religious activities, attended by thousands of people.
