QUETTA (ANN) — Senior clerics in Balochistan have warned that “Zionist and anti-Islam forces” are conspiring to impose wars on Muslim countries and urged the Muslim Ummah to unite and declare jihad. Delivering Friday sermons, Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, Maulana Muhammad Anwarul Haq Haqqani, Maulana Yaqoob, and other religious leaders strongly condemned Israeli attacks on Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza.
They said if Muslim rulers had confronted Israel when it first attacked Palestine, today’s war would not have escalated. The clerics also urged Pakistan to give a “befitting response” to India, which they termed a “terrorist state” and the killer of thousands in Kashmir. They stressed that now is the “golden opportunity” to reclaim Kashmir, demanding the government announce jihad, assuring that the nation will stand united.
The scholars further vowed that Ahl-e-Sunnat would continue to defend Islam and Pakistan, adding that Muslims do not fear death but consider martyrdom an honor. They warned India against “testing the faith of Muslims,” insisting the nation is ready to sacrifice everything for Islam and the country.
