
QUETTA, Aug 12 (6 AM Report): Adviser to the Chief Minister on Women’s Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, has said that youth are the most valuable asset of any society, and Balochistan’s young women, with their talent and determination, have the potential to drive economic and social transformation.
In her message on International Youth Day, Dr. Buledi said the province’s youth are hardworking and capable, and the state is committed to providing them with opportunities. “Education, skills, and employment are the fundamental pillars of youth empowerment,” she stressed, adding that the government has made the education and economic independence of young women a priority.

Dr. Buledi announced that the government will provide interest-free loans to help young women start their own businesses. She said Balochistan has established its first Women Endowment Fund to promote women’s economic stability and is setting up women-only markets to create safe and inclusive spaces for female entrepreneurs.
She further stated that laws against workplace harassment are being strengthened to ensure safe working environments for women, and the Commission on the Status of Women is being made fully functional to address gender equality issues.
Highlighting the role of women in development, Dr. Buledi said that without the active participation of young women, social progress is not possible. “Balochistan’s talented women are making their mark globally, and skilled women are becoming a vital pillar of the economy, playing a significant role in the country’s progress,” she noted.
