Quetta (6 AM Report) – Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has directed that the provincial government’s air services be utilized to shift critically injured victims of the recent Quetta tragedy to Karachi for advanced treatment on doctors’ recommendations.
The Chief Minister instructed authorities to provide full cooperation and take immediate measures to ensure that all injured receive the best possible medical facilities. “Every effort must be made to save lives and provide world-class treatment,” he said, while emphasizing the need to equip hospitals with modern facilities to enable early recovery of patients.
Bugti assured that all resources of the Balochistan government are available for the treatment of the injured and that no effort will be spared. He directed relevant departments to avoid any delay in treatment, transfer, or provision of medical support, stressing that every victim should receive complete care.
He highlighted that the decision to deploy air services for critically injured patients reflects the government’s commitment to public service and its responsibility towards citizens in times of crisis. “Providing immediate and effective medical relief is the government’s top priority,” he said, adding that patients shifted to renowned hospitals in Karachi will be treated under the supervision of specialist doctors.
The Chief Minister also appealed to the public to step forward and support the victims and their families in this difficult time, reaffirming the government’s pledge to stand by those affected and ensure their swift recovery.
