PISHIN (By Mohib Tareen): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mansoor Ahmed Qazi has said that the district administration is extending all possible cooperation and facilities to Afghan brothers and sisters returning to their homeland, while taking steps within its capacity to address the challenges they face.
He expressed these views during his visit to the Afghan refugee camp in Tehsil Saranan, where he interacted with the refugees. Wing Commander Fakhruddin Khan and Assistant Commissioner Naimatullah Tareen also accompanied him.
The DC said that efforts for the dignified and respectful repatriation of Afghan refugees would continue, adding that no government official or individual would be allowed to harm their dignity.

The Afghan residents welcomed the prompt initiative of the district administration and assured cooperation for early repatriation.
DC Qazi instructed that during the repatriation process, special care must be taken for Afghan women, children, elderly persons, and their belongings, ensuring that their dignity is never compromised. He warned that strict legal action would be taken against any officials or staff found guilty of misconduct.
He further stated that the district administration is implementing the federal and provincial governments’ policies regarding the repatriation of Afghan refugees in letter and spirit. He reiterated that safeguarding the dignity of Afghan refugees and providing them full assistance during their departure remains a key vision of both the provincial government and district administration.
