Quetta (6 AM Report): Governor Balochistan, Jafar Khan Mandokhel, emphasized his commitment to the development and constructive transformation of remote and underprivileged areas during a visit to Kanr Mehrtezai. Speaking to a public jirga comprising political leaders, tribal elders, and Awami National Party workers, he acknowledged the challenges faced by scattered populations in accessing basic services.
Governor Mandokhel stated that efforts would be made to address deficiencies in health, education, roads, electricity, and clean water in a systematic manner. “We are grateful for the warm reception in Kanr Mehrtezai, and your issues will be conveyed to both federal and provincial authorities,” he said.
During the one-day visit, the Governor inaugurated the local grid station and Sanger Road. Provincial Assembly Speaker Captain Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, ministers Mir Shoaib Noshirwani, Mir Asim Kurd Gello, Noor Muhammad Domar, MPA Zark Khan Mandokhel, Hadiya Nawaz, ANP leader Malik Amanullah Mehrtezai, and former MPA Shaheena Kakr were also present.
Governor Mandokhel highlighted the importance of strengthening rural infrastructure to reduce pressure on cities, ensure access to education, healthcare, and clean water, and promote overall provincial development. He assured the public that improving the standard of living and encouraging citizen participation in rural development remain top priorities.
