ISLAMABAD (Handout): Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, visited the Embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad on Friday, where he met with Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan, Maulvi Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb.
Governor Kundi expressed deep sorrow and grief over the recent earthquake in Afghanistan that caused significant loss of life and property. He offered heartfelt condolences to the ambassador on the large-scale casualties and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and the speedy recovery of the injured.
On the occasion, the Governor also wrote his condolence message in the visitors’ book at the Afghan Embassy.
Ambassador Shakeeb thanked Governor Kundi for his visit and his expression of sympathy and solidarity during this difficult time.
