QUETTA (6 AM Report) : The Balochistan High Court Bar Association on Tuesday strongly condemned the recent bomb blast at the Balochistan National Party (BNP) rally and announced a province-wide boycott of court proceedings on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
In a joint statement issued by the Bar Association’s president and cabinet members, the attack at Shahwani Stadium in Quetta was denounced as a cowardly act of terrorism that not only claimed innocent lives but also represented a deliberate conspiracy to push the country toward instability.
The statement offered prayers for the martyrs and wished the injured a swift recovery. It further demanded that the government and law enforcement agencies immediately arrest the terrorists and their facilitators and bring them to justice. The Association also stressed the urgent need for effective measures to protect citizens’ lives and property and to restore peace and order in the province.
Press Secretary of the Association, Advocate Abdul Qadir Kakar, confirmed that in protest against the tragedy, lawyers across Balochistan will abstain from all court proceedings on Wednesday.
