NOKUNDI (By Our Correspondent) — Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Chagai and former Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, inaugurated a Digital Library at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Nokundi under the Project Management of the School Education Department, Government of Balochistan.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by former Advisor to the Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Ejaz Khan Sanjrani, District Chairman Khan Abdul Wadood Sanjrani, Project Director Zahoor Ahmed Baloch, Sardar Haji Amanullah Kubdani, Haji Muhammad Rafiq Sasoli, Haji Muhammad Khair Ejbari, Haji Amanullah Mengal, Altaf Khan Sanjrani, Mir Khayam Jamaldini, Mir Imran Mari, Haji Usman Gamshadzai, and other prominent tribal elders and dignitaries.
Under the project, the school underwent complete renovation and refurbishment. Modern facilities including three smart TVs, new furniture, sports and science equipment, printers, a water cooler, and other educational tools were provided to create an enhanced learning environment for the students.
During the visit, Acting Headmaster Ameenullah Sanjrani briefed MPA Sanjrani and accompanied him to inspect the science room and various classrooms. Speaking at the occasion, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani said that education is the ladder to progress and emphasized that discipline, hard work, and modern education are essential to empower the youth for future challenges. He added that providing modern facilities and a conducive learning environment remains one of his top priorities.
MPA Sanjrani also announced several new development initiatives for the school, including the provision of 200 new desks, uniforms for all students, a photocopier, water supply connection with an RO plant, computers with an IT instructor, tile flooring for the assembly hall, parking sheds, a futsal ground, study tours for 9th and 10th-grade students, remuneration-based additional teachers, and new books for the library.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Acting Headmaster Ameenullah Sanjrani presented the MPA with a book on Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW), which was warmly appreciated by all participants.
The initiative is part of the government’s broader vision to modernize education in remote areas of Balochistan, providing students with the facilities and opportunities necessary to excel academically and socially.
