QUETTA (PR) — The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has announced scheduled power shutdowns across various parts of the provincial capital for essential repair and development works.
According to QESCO, power supply will remain suspended from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on September 20–21 from Sheikh Manda Grid Station (Western Bypass, Jabal Noor, Dareem, Takatu, Dostain, Khrotabad feeders). On September 21, feeders from Quetta City Grid (Stadium, Jinnah Town, Brewery, Malik Plant, Shehbaz Town), Sariab Grid (Old Jan Muhammad Road, New Jan Muhammad, Old Liaquat Bazaar, Sariab 1 & 2, Wasa, Khair Bakhsh Mari, BMC, Kirani, Hazara Town) will face power cuts from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, while Mariabad Grid (Gulistan, Hali Road, City, Liaquat Bazaar Express) will be off from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Further, on September 22, Quetta City Grid feeders (Alam Khan, Nawan Killi, Old Samungli, Interconnector) will remain off from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. The same day, feeders linked to 132 KV Darwaza Grid Station (Asimabad, Kolpur, Usmanabad, Panjoo, Thirteen Mile, Chiltan, Qadirabad, Hamza Muhammad, Sigar, Muhammad Hasni) will be suspended from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
QESCO has apologized for the inconvenience and requested public cooperation during the scheduled outages.
